The Victorian Schools Chamber Music Festival will take place at Caulfield Grammar School on Sunday August 24. The competition is open to all school chamber music ensembles, and provides a wonderful opportunity for students to enjoy performing chamber music to their peers.

[ July 1, 2008 to September 29, 2008. ] The Musical Society of Victoria holds a series of competitions for instrumentalists which assists students to prepare for exams (AMEB, VCE etc) later in the year and add to their performance opportunities.     John Crowley
    John Crowley is an Australian music educator from Colac, Victoria. He has taught music in secondary schools for the past 15 years with great distinction. In 1998 he was awarded a NEiTA (National Excellence in Teaching Award) for the Victoria and Tasmania region for his contribution to music education, and in the following year, he went on to be awarded the prestigious National award for excellence in music education from the NEiTA Foundation. John has taught VCE music with great success for many years.
